Day 1 – Welcome to Venice
June 11, 2026 | Arrive Venice mid-morning
After your overnight flight from Nashville, arrive in enchanting Venice where a private water taxi whisks you across the shimmering lagoon directly to your centrally located 4★ hotel — the most magical introduction to the Floating City.
Spend a relaxed afternoon soaking in Venice’s timeless beauty. Wander through the magnificent St. Mark’s Square, admire centuries-old architecture, and cross the legendary Rialto Bridge as gondolas glide beneath you.
This evening, gather for a delightful welcome dinner featuring classic Venetian cuisine — the perfect toast to the adventure ahead.

Day 2 – Historic Venice & Canal Elegance
Step into the heart of Venetian history with a private guided walking tour. Marvel at the golden mosaics of St. Mark’s Basilica, explore the opulent chambers of the Doge’s Palace, and slip away into hidden alleys and quiet canals few visitors ever discover.
In the afternoon, savor Venice at its most iconic with your choice of a private gondola ride or scenic canal cruise — a serene and unforgettable perspective of the city.

Day 3 – Journey to Florence
Board a comfortable high-speed train and glide through the Italian countryside to Florence in just about two hours.
Upon arrival, settle into your elegant central 4★ hotel before enjoying an orientation stroll through the historic center. Stand in awe before the magnificent Duomo, wander lively piazzas, and begin to absorb the Renaissance magic that defines this extraordinary city.

Day 6 – Florence at Your Leisure
Enjoy a day designed entirely around your interests. Browse artisan boutiques, visit world-class museums, sip espresso in sunlit piazzas, or simply wander.
For those eager to explore further, an optional excursion to Siena and/or Chianti will be offered via a group survey. You can choose this day for exploring Florence on your own or you take an excursion to include medieval charm and a spectacular countryside. Let your tour leader help you decide!

Day 7 – Onward to Rome
Travel via high-speed train to Italy’s vibrant capital in just 90 minutes. After checking into your centrally located 4★ hotel, head out for an evening stroll through atmospheric streets.
Tonight, we will dine in the beloved neighborhood of Trastevere, known for its ivy-draped buildings, glowing lanterns, and authentic Roman flavors.

Day 8 – The Wonders of Vatican City
Skip the lines and step straight into artistic greatness on a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, the awe-inspiring Sistine Chapel, and the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica.

Day 9 – La Dolce Vita! Ancient Rome Revealed
Walk in the footsteps of emperors as your expert guide leads you through the mighty Colosseum, the storied ruins of the Roman Forum, and the legendary Palatine Hill. Discovering Rome’s elegant piazzas and fountains. You will visit the Spanish Steps, admire the beauty of Piazza Navona, and enjoy one last afternoon soaking up Italy’s irresistible atmosphere but not until throwing your coin into the Trevi fountain which is a sure guarantee you will return to Italia!
This evening, enjoy dinner on your own or with new friends in a classic Roman trattoria — a perfect setting to reflect on the day’s timeless wonders.
Day 10 – Flavors of Rome
Enjoy a leisurely morning before diving into Rome’s culinary soul. Choose between a lively Trastevere food tour filled with authentic tastings or an optional hands-on cooking class where you’ll learn the secrets behind Italy’s most beloved dishes. Which one will you choose?
You will later join all your new friends for a joyful farewell dinner----a finale to an unforgettable Italian adventure!

Day 11 – Arrivederci, Italy
You are responsible for arranging your transfer to Rome Fiumicino Airport for your flight home. You will be leaving with a heart full of memories and perhaps already dreaming of your next Her Dream Vacation escape.

Our small group tours include many extras that you may not be expecting. Because we are small women's group tour, we have the luxury of flexibility, including necessary changes. We stop when we want to, we add in an extra site, and we start our day when it makes sense.
Some days are easier than others, but you do have some free time built in. It is important to us that you take care of YOU! Do you want to get a massage? Go shopping? Or just chill in your room with a good book? No problem! Just be mindful of, and respectful to your tour companions and traveling concierge.
We have expert guides and drivers who answer questions one-on-one, with transportation that is typically a luxurious touring van.
We immerse with the locals and there is a lot of serendipity. We visit the "planned by us," but unknown to you are little surprises along the way that are built in. Please join us!
