Traveling to London and Paris will be an immersion in the best of both worlds. This women-only tour is a culturally rich Her Dream Vacation filled with visits to the most classic landmarks of two of the world's most magnificent cities. With a little bit of serendipity, off the beaten path exploration and guided tours, you will experience the exquisite charms of both great cities.
We will begin in London and, after seeing the best of the historic sights, we will cross the English Channel via the high-speed Eurostar train to Paris. The history, culture, museums, galleries and churches of both of these historically rich cities will delight your senses. Fun, adventure and memories of two great cities with a wonderful group of women traveling together. What are you waiting for?
Day 1 - Cheers! Welcome to London!
Let’s make the most of London and arrive before noon on this day of welcome. You will be met at the airport by a private driver and escorted to a lovely boutique hotel in the center of London! This is your landing day which gives you the freedom to rest and adjust your body clock so that you can be ready for your Dream Vacation week. Take care of YOU!
Once you have settled in with a cup of tea, the afternoon can be spent exploring this vibrant city before we meet for our welcome dinner in a traditional English Pub. Surprises are in store!

Day 2 - History and Treasures
After your fabulous English breakfast, we begin our journey of seeing the historical sights of London with our private guide. We will visit the 1000-year-old Westminster Abbey. This is the best example of British history, show casing a treasure house of paintings, stained glass, and treasures beyond. We will make our way to the 900-year-old Tower of London. Who doesn’t want to see the Crown Jewels?
The afternoon will be spent with a visit to St.Paul’s Cathedral, House of Parliament and Big Ben.
Our final highlight of the day will be the pageantry of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.

Day 3 - Tea on High
We have some great choices this morning after breakfast. We can visit the markets of London and continue to explore the highlights. Choices to include The Victoria and Albert Museum, British Museum or maybe a little shopping at the world’s famous Harrods.
Tonight we will spend the evening with a relaxed illumination cruise on the River Thames.

Day 4 - To Be or Not to Be...
After a free morning, this afternoon is dedicated to Shakespeare and we will spend a delightful afternoon at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre with a tour guide who will make you laugh and laugh. We will complete the afternoon with a Shakespeare Walk and spend the evening in the wonderful West End theatre district as a theatre patron. It will be a musical to delight all of your senses!

Day 5 - Bon Jour!
We will depart London early today for the City of Lights via the Eurostar. Once we arrive in Paris, we will settle in and meet our local guide for our first Paris Neighborhood Walk.
Enough of the English pub grub! We are in Paris! This will be our neighborhood gourmet walk that will include a bit of history, food and wine tasting and help you become familiar with your local digs. Hand-shaped breads and buttery pastries from a wood-burning oven, traditional charcuterie from the very charismatic neighborhood butcher, artisanal cheeses from all over France, chocolates from a Maître Ouvrier de France (an MOF – the highest rank for a French chocolatier), and sweets from an acclaimed pastry chef.
Historians, intellectuals, artists, and philosophers walked these narrow streets and alleyways and we will hear all about them. Later in the afternoon, we will make our way to the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral ending our day with a lovely dinner at a local Parisian street cafe.

Day 6 - Tour de Paris
After breakfast, we will meet our local tour guide for a full day of sightseeing in the City of Lights. Charming walks, sweeping views and cobblestone streets will lead us to Montmartre for the Sacred Coeur, Place du Tertre and Moulin Rouge.
We will have lunch and a little shopping on the banks of the Seine. You will have the afternoon free to seek out the lesser known sights such as the Pere Lachaise cemetery where Jim Morrision, Chopin, Proust and countless others are buried.
Exploring at your own pace, serendipitous finds and cheerful Parisian moments. Then ... get ready because tonight will be magical as we take a tour of of the City of Lights by bicycle! The evening will end with memories of a fabulous day!

Day 7 - Très Bien
So much to see, so little time to see it all!
Today, we will start early with a climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower and then continue on to the most visited museum in the world, The Louvre. On your own, with museum pass in hand, you can view the masterpieces which includes the Venus De Milo and the Mona Lisa or you can head over to The Muse d’ Orsay for the Impressionist works of Renoir, Monet, Picasso and Van Gogh.
Excellent museums, antique markets, souvenir shopping...all in a days work! In the afternoon, we will take a stroll along what the French call the “the world’s most beautiful avenue,” the Champs Elysees. Luxurious shops, art galleries, typical cafes and famous monuments. All about the dreams of Paris…a women only tour…women traveling together making lifetime memories!
We will end the day with a dinner cruise on the Seine River to get one final magical look at the sights from the water while enjoying a delicious dinner.

Day 8 - Ooh, la, la ... Optional Day-trip to Versailles or Explore Paris on Your Own
You can choose to spend the day visiting the lavish residence and gardens where the French Royal family and its aristocratic court lived and governed for over a century. The opulence and luxury can be taken in by a bike ride, a paddle boat ride or a casual stroll through the magnificent gardens.
This dream tour to visit Marie Antoinette’s Royal Palace will end your Paris Dream Vacation. If you choose to hang out in Paris for the day, we will toast our goodbyes with a champagne tasting and share our favorite memories of the week.

Day 9 - Au Revoir Paris
It has been a dream vacation and so glad you joined us. After breakfast, you will depart for your trip back home or to your next destination.
